Job Description
SignArt Company Inc., a sign manufacturing business established in 1975 in Eau Claire, WI, is looking for an experienced General Laborer in our Eau Claire location. We make custom signage for several businesses locally all the way up to the national level. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Various assistance in manufacturing signs Paint prep General assembly Low voltage wiring Welding Read and interpret work orders to determine necessary materials and cut sizes Cut, bend, drill, screw, bolt materials to specs of work orders Running automated machinery Use of hand tools and metal fabrication equipment Requirements High school or equivalent Available for first shift full-time work Able to work overtime Valid driver's license Ability to lift 50 lbs Basic math skills including ability to read tape measure Ability to use some hand tools (tape measure/pliers/wire strippers etc.) Good attention to detail Ability to work independently Welding and/or industrial painting experience a plus
