Material Handler Responsibilities:
  • Unload incoming shipments; verify quantities and conditions against purchase orders
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, or dollies to transfer materials between docks, warehouse areas, and production zones
  • Accurately pick materials for production or customer shipments; pack, crate, label, and stage items securely
  • Maintain accurate stock records using ERP/WMS systems; perform cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies
  • Conduct daily inspections of material handling equipment and report any issues
  • Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and comply with safety policies
  • Coordinate with warehouse, production, procurement, and shipping teams to support seamless operations and resolve issues promptly Requirements for
Material Handler:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
  • OSHA forklift certification and safe operation experience
  • Familiarity with warehouse management or ERP systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50-100lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
  • Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities
  • Experience in the electrical or manufacturing sector (e.g. heating elements, appliances) preferred
  • Additional certification in pallet jack, crane, or HAZMAT handling preferred
  • Ability to work variable shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed is a plus
