This is a hands-on opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical work, working as part of a team, and contributing to daily production goals. This entry-level position offers on-the-job training and a contract-to-direct path. Candidates should be comfortable working in changing weather conditions, following safety procedures, and handling materials throughout the production process. Key Responsibilities
- Handle and move wood building materials and finished products
- Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility
- Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment as trained
- Follow safety procedures and participate in safety meetings
- Maintain material flow according to production requirements
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- Work outdoors and indoors in varying Wisconsin weather conditions
- Learn and apply processes through training and guidance from supervisors Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50 pounds continuously and up to 80 pounds occasionally
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, and perform physical labor throughout the shift
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work safely and follow established procedures
- Willingness to wear required PPE
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Strong attendance and reliability
