General Laborer Job Description This role supports food production operations at two facilities that cook soups, broths, seasonings, and pet food. General Laborers assist cooks, move and stage materials, load and unload product, and help keep production lines running smoothly in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Responsibilities Assist cooks in preparing and producing dog food, soups, broths, and seasonings according to established procedures. Work in a hot production environment while maintaining safety and quality standards. Lift and move up to 50 pounds as an assistant cook and 30+ pounds frequently in other general labor tasks. Work closely with cooks to mix, batch, and prepare ingredients for production. Load and unload trucks with raw materials and finished products as a case packer or loader/unloader. Bring raw materials and ingredients to assistant cooks to ensure continuous production flow. Essential Skills Ability to perform general labor in a fast-paced production environment. Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently lift 30+ pounds throughout the shift. Experience or comfort with food preparation or food production tasks. Why Work Here?
