Job Title:

Warehouse Worker Job Description In this role, you will be responsible for supplying fresh produce and vegetables to grocery stores. You will utilize a pallet jack and RF scanner to pick and assemble orders, build stable and well-cubed pallets for shipping, and ensure that products and pallets are correctly labeled for their destination. Maintaining a clean, dry, and debris-free warehouse area is essential. Responsibilities Pick and assemble orders using a pallet jack and RF scanner. Build stable and well-cubed pallets for shipping. Shrink wrap and label products/pallets with correct truck, destination, and other required information. Maintain a clean, dry, and debris-free warehouse area. Essential Skills Ability to pick orders and handle shipping and receiving tasks. Capable of lifting 50lbs consistently throughout the shift. Self-motivated with skills in forklift operation, packaging, and inventory count. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work in a cool environment (35-50 degrees). Flexible on shift end times as they vary with the seasons. Experience in general production and material handling. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a cool environment of 35-50 degrees, requiring warm clothes like sweatshirts and winter hats. The current shift runs from 4 pm until done, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with two days off each week on Saturday and Monday. Enjoy a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute paid breaks. The team consists of roughly 10 employees per shift, all performing similar tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Crosse, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
