This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a dependable, hands-on professional who enjoys warehouse operations, logistics coordination, inventory management, and supporting installation teams in a fast-paced environment. The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm. The Warehouse Services Technician will play a key role in ensuring commercial furniture products and materials are received, organized, staged, and delivered accurately while helping maintain efficient warehouse operations and supporting successful project execution.
Job Description:
Receive, inspect, organize, and distribute incoming furniture, materials, and supplies Load, unload, stage, and prepare products for installation and delivery projects Maintain warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and storage areas Support receiving, inventory control, and product tracking activities Operate forklifts, warehouse equipment, and company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner Assist installation teams with deliveries, jobsite logistics, product movement, and project support activities Perform general warehouse, facility, and equipment maintenance tasks Read and verify packing slips, shipping documents, and product information for accuracy Support day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure projects are completed on time and accurately Maintain a safe work environment and follow established company procedures and safety practices Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, installation teams, and internal stakeholders Assist with additional warehouse and logistics responsibilities as assigned
Must Have Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Ability to safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment or willingness to obtain certification Valid driver's license with a safe driving record Ability to drive company vehicles Ability to lift and move 50-100 lbs. on a regular basis Ability to use basic hand and power tools Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and email Ability to learn warehouse processes, inventory systems, and company software Strong work ethic, reliability, and self-motivation Professional attitude and customer service mindset Nice to
Have Qualifications:
Commercial furniture, warehouse, delivery, logistics, or construction experience Forklift certification and knowledge of commercial furniture products/installations Experience supporting installation or field operations teams Inventory management and receiving experience Knowledge of commercial furniture products or installation processes Experience working in a project-driven environment
