WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

Job Summary:

The primary duties will, but are not limited to, loading, unloading, and physical movement of product inventory. Maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient warehouse facility. Assist team both in warehouse and on-farm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reports to the Location Manager ACA 30 Part Time- Minimum of 30 hours per week with eligibility for benefits the first of the month following 60 days of hire. Unload inbound freight Operate forklift equipment in a safe and professional manner Put away and organize warehouse inventory in its designated location Assist the Route personnel in processing inflations, inventory control and organization. Assist in preparing inventory for use by service, route and install technicians as directed by supervisor. Pick up product from local vendors Deliver product to shop or farms as directed Wash shells, load liners, clean and wash misc. equipment, as needed Pick up product from local vendors and deliver to shop or farms as directed Maintain and clean the warehouse shop and warehouse and outdoor area to reflect a positive image Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications (Skills/Abilities Required) Positive attitude always Coachable and Professional demeanor Good organizational skills Self-motivated Good time management skills Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with vendors, co-workers, and customers. Forklift experience, a plus Dairy background, a plus Education High School Diploma Dairy background and supply knowledge a plus.
