Job Description

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Compensation:
Base pay begins at $18 hourly, with a scheduled wage adjustment following the successful completion of the initial trial period. Role Summary We are seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our high-energy warehouse crew. You will play a key role in our supply chain by overseeing the organization, storage, and transport of inventory. By maintaining a sharp focus on accuracy and safety, you will help us optimize production output and ensure warehouse operations run seamlessly. This is a great chance to utilize heavy machinery and specialized tools within a bustling distribution setting. Core Duties Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks to transport goods while helping maintain a secure environment for the entire team. Utilize RF scanning technology and digital management systems to ensure precise order tracking and picking. Improve overall fulfillment speed by assisting with order picking tasks using specialized warehouse equipment. Manage incoming and outgoing shipments by checking for damages and preparing goods for final transit. Ensure materials are placed accurately in staging zones or storage areas during the loading and unloading of transport vehicles. Promote a high standard of operational efficiency by keeping the workspace tidy and well-organized. Assist with stock replenishment and routine cycle counts to help maintain accurate inventory levels. Qualifications Demonstrated background in logistics or warehouse distribution settings. Practical skill in handling heavy machinery like cranes, forklifts, and pallet jacks; credentials are a plus. Basic mechanical aptitude to assist in resolving minor equipment malfunctions. Understanding of standard OSHA safety protocols within industrial settings. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the workday. Familiarity with inventory software or warehouse management systems is highly preferred. Previous experience in a supervisory capacity is a benefit for those seeking to grow into leadership roles. Background in shipping, receiving, or construction is beneficial for grasping complex logistics processes.
