  • $30/hr (Full time; First shift)

Company Overview:
Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable Steel Fabricator in the Milwaukee area on their search for a Material Handler to support shop operations and production flow . This organization specializes in structural steel and miscellaneous metals for large-scale commercial and industrial projects and has built a strong reputation for quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
Role Summary:
The Material Handler will be responsible for moving, staging, and organizing steel materials throughout the shop to support fabrication and welding operations. This individual will work closely with shop supervisors and production teams to ensure materials are delivered efficiently and safely to the correct workstations.
Project Types:
Structural Steel and Misc Metals Job Responsibilities:
Load, unload, and move structural steel materials throughout the shop Stage materials for fabrication, fitting, and welding teams Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment Assist with inventory control and material tracking Verify materials against shop drawings and work orders Maintain organized material storage areas and workspaces Support production flow by ensuring materials are delivered in a timely manner Assist with general shop duties as needed Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow Follow OSHA and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications/Requirements:
1+ years of experience in a material handling or manufacturing environment Experience operating forklifts and/or overhead cranes preferred Ability to read basic shop drawings or material lists is a plus Strong attention to detail and organization skills Ability to lift and move heavy materials (50+ lbs) Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment Willingness to work overtime as needed Ability to pass background/drug screen Eligibility to work in the U.S.
