Job Description
Commerce Industrial Chemicals (CIC), a division of First Source Worldwide, LLC. is a distributor of materials for the coatings, adhesive, plastics, printing and metal working markets offering solvents, containers, iron oxides, inorganic fibers, dyes, calcium chlorides and more. CIC is looking for a warehouse associate to join our team Monday to Friday 8-4:30.

Duties and Responsbilities:
Ensure safety of self and others; follow all policies and procedures. Package materials based on instructions provided in the work order. Maintain order of facility by properly stocking items and returning raw materials to appropriate stock locations. Inspect orders / inbound materials for accuracy, quality and adherence to requirements and policy and properly store in inventory or outbounds according to the specifications before/after shipment. Document order status including units handled & moved in the company's ERP. Work with customer service and freight carriers to ensure pickup and delivery timeliness & accuracy of all shipments. Label and move freight, stock and other materials to & from storage & production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles & containers, by hand or using trucks, forklifts and other equipment. Photograph incoming & outgoing materials as a part of quality control; rejecting, documenting, and reporting any material not compliant to order specifications. Maintain cleanliness of work station, equipment, and overall facility. Complete all paperwork relating to a batch order and shipping/receiving materials in compliance with FSW policy, EHS and legal requirements. Maintain attendance that complies with company guidelines on acceptable absences. Perform all other related duties as assigned.Requirements:
Highschool diploma or GED; and 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience Effective verbal and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Outlook and Word, basics with Excel) Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification (training provided) and operate on a daily basis Knowledge of the freight regulations and requirements of the Department of Transportation Understanding of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property and institutions Detail oriented and able to identify inconsistencies and review others' work Ability to operate scanning equipment and enter data into an Information System Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test post-employment offer CIC and FSW are committed to providing equal opportunity for employees and applicants in all aspects of the employment relationship, without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, marital status, veteran status, disability, age, religion or any other classification protected by law.
