As a Material Handler, you provide support to the production facility by stocking machine centers with the raw materials they need to produce quality packaging material. Additionally, this role is responsible for other related tasks such as the movement of materials within our Shipping & Receiving areas and the unloading of rail cars as needed.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor machine centers and stock areas with raw materials and work-in-process inventory as needed, using clamp and/or fork trucks. Receive raw materials using clamp and/or fork trucks. Ship finished goods using clamp and/or fork trucks. Pump resin from rail cars to silo as needed May be required to perform other housekeeping and/or other manufacturing related functions as required by Management. Required to drive the company owned/leased truck between plant locations. Requirements The position requires the ability to read and understand instructions and communicate effectively in a team environment. Candidates are required to possess a high school diploma and have basic high school math skills. The ability to problem solve and troubleshoot are a must. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Additionally, this position works a rotating 12hour shift schedule with 4 days on-shift followed by 4 days off. Experience with a clamp and or fork truck is a plus! ProAmpac is an
