Join our operations team where you will play a critical role in ensuring materials and finished products are handled efficiently, safely, and accurately. This position supports warehouse and production operations by maintaining smooth material flow and contributing to high standards in quality, safety, and compliance. The Role & Your Impact In this role, you will be responsible for handling, moving, and preparing materials and finished products within a warehouse environment. Your work directly contributes to operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
Read work orders or follow instructions to identify materials to be moved or processed Load and unload materials onto pallets, racks, shelves, and vehicles Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance Pick, pack, and prepare finished goods for shipment, including labeling and wrapping Operate industrial trucks or hoists to move materials safely and efficiently Maintain accurate records through SAP and other tracking systems Perform cycle counting and inventory control activities Ensure proper storage conditions, including temperature control where required Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety and sanitation standards Follow all regulatory and certification requirements, including Kosher and Halal guidelines What You'll Need to Be Successful High School Diploma or GED At least six months of experience in material handling, warehouse, or similar operations Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Experience operating industrial trucks, forklifts, or hoisting equipment (or ability to learn) Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email and data entry systems (SAP preferred) Knowledge of GMP, safety protocols, sanitation practices, and DOT hazardous materials requirements Strong communication skills to interact with drivers, customer service, and internal teams Basic math skills, including unit conversions and use of a calculator Additional Skills & Interests We Value Previous experience working in a regulated environment Familiarity with warehouse management systems or ERP tools Strong attention to detail and organizational skills A team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety and quality Willingness to learn new processes and support team operations What We Offer A collaborative and safety-focused work environment Opportunities to build skills in warehouse operations and inventory management Exposure to regulated processes and industry standards A supportive team culture focused on continuous improvement Opportunities for growth and development within operations Ways of Working /
Working Conditions Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 am-2:30 pm. Frequent exposure to warm, cold, and noisy environments Work around moving equipment such as forklifts Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, or outdoor conditions Work in temperature-controlled environments, including freezer storage Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, and protective clothing Physical demands including prolonged standing, bending, lifting, and handling materials up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with assistance Movement between controlled areas requiring strict compliance with air lock procedures to prevent contamination Compensation & Benefits Expected salary: $18/hour 401(k) with up to a 9% company contribution.
