As a Warehouse Associate/Unloader, you will work hands-on in our state-of-the-art warehouse with new technology/equipment, and in a pristine warehouse working environment. Warehouse Associates gain valuable knowledge and experience in the beverage and distribution industry and are developed and mentored to become familiar with the operations within our growing company. This individual is responsible for unloading and loading trucks according to SOP, rotate product properly, and uphold cleanliness of warehouse. This is a 2nd shift opportunity. Essential Job Functions :
Unload all trucks that come back from delivery Sort AB Case pallets, AB draft pallets, and all other pallets that come back from the trade; put into correct staging area Ensure safety protocols are followed and proper reports are filled out promptly if an accident occurs Put away all repacked cases and good product that comes back off the truck Ensure proper upkeep of the warehouse Put away all empty kegs that come back from the trade with correct brewery; once stack is completed wrap and put with other empties to be sent back to the breweries Separate all breakage and OOC and stack neatly onto a pallet so our breakage team can rework these cases Full good BBLS that come back from the trade should be put back into the keg coolers in the correct locations Make sure all areas on dock are cleaned up after working and ready for the next shift Other duties as assigned Critical Physical Demands Walking and climbing of steps and stairs Two handed lifting, handling, carrying cases from floor to overhead on a frequent basis Two handed lifting, handling and carrying quarter barrels from floor to 36" on an occasional basis Two handed lifting, handling, carrying half barrels from floor to 48" on an occasional basis Forklift and pallet jack will be required to do this job; onsite training is provided but experience is a plus Sustaining squatting, kneeling, stooping and bending while moving cases and barrelsEssential Job Requirements:
Previous warehouse and inventory control experience preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Enthusiastic, high energy, and self-motivated individual with a desire to succeed Superior organization skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines High School Diploma or GED Required Knowledge of Microsoft Office Must be able to lift, move, and place cases of product weighing up to 40 pounds on a repetitive basis Why Join Us?
