00 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Sanitation High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Sanitation Associate/ Warehouse Worker The Sanitation Associate is responsible for all activities involved in maintaining the cleanliness and food safe environment of the Processing facility, surrounding area and equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Promotes a safe work environment through knowledge of the sanitation program and commitment to a safe workplace for all. Ensures safety is a priority in day to day functions. Ensures food safety and food defense in the plant. Implements all GMP and HACCP procedures that relate to cleanliness, food safety and pest control with the facility. Maintains a supply of cleaning chemicals necessary for the operation of the cleaning program and in compliance with OSHA and FDA regulations. Knowledgeable in best practices and safety, understanding SDS information, and the proper use of personal protective equipment. Safety Glasses or Goggles, Chemical Safety gloves, aprons, suits. Rubber boots. Safety helmet, hairnet and uniform is required to be worn daily. (LOTO) refers to Lock out or Tag out of energy of the equipment before cleaning. Able to perform duties at various heights. Follows and complies with all Good Manufacturing Practices. Communicates effectively with supervisors, co-workers and other departments. Proficient at routine preventative maintenance as well as changeovers. Follows all safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulations Attends all company training sessions and team meetings

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a production environment. The employee is frequently exposed to facility elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors.
