General Laborer

Position Summary Bennett Hardwoods is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our growing team. This role is essential to daily operations and supports lumber processing, handling, and facility maintenance. The ideal candidate is motivated, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in an industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Sort, stack, and move kiln-dried hardwood lumber Assist with loading and unloading trucks Operate basic hand tools and equipment Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow safety procedures and company policies Assist machine operators and warehouse staff as needed Perform other general labor duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous warehouse or lumber yard experience is a plus (not required) Ability to lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly Ability to stand, bend, and work in varying temperatures Strong work ethic and reliability Forklift experience is a plus

Pay:

$15.00 - $19.00 per hour
