ABOUT US
As a manufacturing startup dedicated to transforming the pontoon boat industry, Flamingo prioritizes innovation, performance, and quality to deliver exceptional on-water experiences. We're currently seeking an experienced Materials Handler to help us build and scale a high-performing manufacturing operation from the ground up.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Materials Handler is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials, parts, and components to and from the production lines. This role maintains accurate inventory, supports the movement of large assemblies and finished goods, and contributes to the overall efficiency and organization of the manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and skilled individual to contribute to a growing company and help shape the future of the marine industry. The hours for the position are 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with a 15-minute paid break and a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The position will be required to work overtime based on business needs.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to move materials throughout the facility. Deliver raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies to the production lines as needed to maintain continuous workflow. Receive, inspect, and stage incoming materials and parts for storage or production use. Prepare and move completed assemblies and finished boats to designated staging areas for quality checks or shipment. Leverage

software to maintain accurate inventory counts, perform cycle counts, and track material locations. Package, label, and document materials for internal transfers or external shipping as required. Communicate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to anticipate material needs and resolve shortages. Keep material storage areas, aisles, and staging zones clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and safety standards. Assist with general warehouse duties and maintain the orderly flow of materials. Perform other duties as assigned by the production manager or team lead.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling role. Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred, training available). Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills (inventory systems, data entry, email). Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and take direction.
