What You'll Do:
As a Material Handler, you are responsible for the controlled flow of all manufacturing materials from time of delivery until it is utilized in production. You also compile stocking information for reporting purposes. This position requires active participation in team meetings, problem solving, and data collection. Our Material Handlers play a vital role in helping ensure our products deliver on our value proposition of being "Rugged, Reliable, and Responsive."
Position Responsibilities:
Report damaged product to Warehouse Supervisor/Team Lead. Audit quantities received when specified or requested. Assign stock and bin locations to inventory items. Pull stock and provide materials to production and/or shipping. Maintain the designated stock area. Perform general equipment preventative maintenance. Move discrepant material to a segregated area. Perform cycle counts, stock counts, and quantity verifications. Advise Warehouse Supervisor and/or Team Lead when supplies are needed. Provide assembly support to the Production team . Perform packaging /shipping duties . Report any safety violations and concerns immediately to the Warehouse Supervisor. Actively participate in team problem solving, process improvement, and decision making. Supply Warehouse Supervisor/Team Lead with reports and documentation as requested. Complete special assignments as requested by the Team Lead/Warehouse Supervisor. Comply and assist with the requirements of
ISO 9001
2008 and the pursuit of continuous improvement.
