Material Handler- 1st Shift

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations on 1st shift. This role involves handling materials, supporting shipping/receiving, and ensuring accurate inventory movement in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and put away incoming materials in proper locations Pick, stage, and package materials for shipment Load and unload trucks as needed Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts (if certified) Maintain accurate inventory through system updates and physical movement Ensure materials meet quality standards before shipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assist with general warehouse duties including removing debris and organizing materials Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 1-2 years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred Experience operating a forklift or similar equipment preferred Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) Ability to use handheld scanners or warehouse systems Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Work Environment & Schedule 1st shift (Monday-Friday; hours may vary based on workload) Warehouse or yard environment (may include indoor/outdoor conditions) Physical role requiring lifting, standing, and movement throughout the shift Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Additional company-provided benefits
