Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our distribution center by managing inventory, processing orders, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Position will require 15-20 hours a week working in our Madison branch. Duties Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and order status. Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and reach trucks safely and efficiently. Perform regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels. Ensure that all products are stored properly, following safety guidelines and best practices. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area to promote a safe working environment. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred. Familiarity with order picking, packing, and basic math skills for inventory management. Experience operating pallet jacks, reach trucks, or similar equipment is a plus. Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods while working in a warehouse environment.
