Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Job Title:

Material Handler 2nd Shift Job Description As a Material Handler, you will report to the fabrication supervisor and play a crucial role in moving large sheets of metal to the forming department using a sit-down forklift. You will also assist with brake press and laser operations. Responsibilities Operate a sit-down forklift to move large sheets of metal. Support the fabrication department by moving materials as needed, including unloading trucks and transporting materials to and from various departments. Load and unload sheets and parts from the laser. Assist in bending parts with the press brake in two-person tasks. Provide support to the welding team through tasks such as tacking, kitting, and prepping. Finish metal units as required and based on demand. Operate machinery and perform general labor as needed. Essential Skills Proficiency in operating forklifts. Experience in loading and material handling. Ability to use measuring equipment such as tape measures and micrometers. Strong understanding of mathematics to verify job requirements and specifications. Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards to meet customer specifications. Work Environment Work in a clean, well-lit manufacturing environment on a weekend day shift from Friday to Sunday, 6 am to 6 pm. Collaborate in small teams to achieve goals efficiently. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Winneconne, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
