reviews U.S. Lumber is an SBP Brand. U.S. Lumber is currently looking for a Material Handler to join our VALUES based organization. We seek to serve people first, and we operate according to a moral compass aimed at doing what is right even when it is hard. A Material Handler performs a number of different and important responsibilities including material receiving, material & product movement, product shipping and production support responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Receive, audit, inspect, ID and put away incoming material to proper locations Maintain housekeeping and organization in warehouse and other material location area Maintain correct inventories by moving materials in computer when physically moving materials Assists assigning production areas when not moving materials Ensure the product and or materials meet quality expectations Notify supervisor of improvement opportunities Support area needs to remove empty pallets, trash and recycle type materials Stage completed and stretch wrapped products into shipping staging lanes by loads Load trucks with finished products per direction of Warehouse/ Operations Manager Responsible for adhering to forklift, operational, quality and safety guidelines Perform other duties as assigned
