Job Description

Position Overview Performs audits of outbound shipments daily and support the warehouse team. Follows all internal policies and procedures to help meet company goals for revenue growth, profitability, order accuracy, and the customer experience.
Work Schedule:
2nd Shift Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 2:00pm-12:30am
Location:
Abraham Linc in Bridgeport, WV This role is eligible for a shift differential. Essential Functions Auditor Audit ALL palletized goods from the "picking" process. Audit will consist of verifying the correct product and correct quantity. Verify the product is in good condition (ex. free from damage). Verify all "best practices" are followed (correct size pallet used, etc.) Band/Strap/Wrap to secure pallet and apply proper label identification Follow proper scanning protocol for passing or failing pick Report ALL failures to Supervisor. Receiving Properly and accurately receives, labels, records, and stores all incoming product. Monitors product quality and notifies inventory controller of any issues. Inspects incoming merchandise for damages. Works quickly and efficiently to keep dock area clean and clear. Rotates stock when possible. Processes returns in a timely manner. Shipping Ensures that trucks are properly loaded with correct product. Reports any truck maintenance issues to Logistics Manager. Properly secures shipments to prevent damage. Correctly labels and wraps all outgoing product. Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required. Work Experience Prior forklift operation experience. Previous experience auditing and/or quality assurance in a warehouse or retail environment. Education High School diploma or equivalent. Physical Demand and Work Environment Must be able to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions. Considerable amount of time spent lifting 50-100 lbs Legally permitted to work in the United States.
