General Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various tools, contributing to the efficient operation of our facility. This role is essential in supporting production processes, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe work environment. Duties Assist in the assembly line process by efficiently moving materials and components then stacking as needed. Ability to learn to run specialized sawmill equipment. Including chipper, timber mat mill, and wedge mill. Perform tasks in the yard or sawmill setting, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain quality standards. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any issues to supervisors. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency. Qualifications Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and assembly line processes. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, stacking, standing for long periods, and moving materials as required.
