Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and versatile Warehouse/Maintenance Person to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities, including inventory management, materials handling, and equipment maintenance. You will help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment, supporting overall distribution and manufacturing processes. Be able to Responsibilities Manage inventory control by accurately tracking stock levels using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure optimal stock availability. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely within the warehouse. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by preparing shipments, verifying orders , and ensuring timely dispatch of goods. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Support manufacturing and repair operations by handling materials safely, conducting heavy lifting tasks, and assisting with packaging and stock replenishment. Collaborate with supervisors to optimize storage solutions, improve workflow processes, and implement best practices in stock stocking, order picking, and packing. Skills Experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management, and inventory control techniques. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers; certification preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and repair; ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly. Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes . Committed to maintaining a safe workspace. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to proper ergonomic practices during materials handling tasks. Prior experience in warehouse management and maintenance is required.
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
