Greenville, NC Job Details Internship $10 - $15 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Records maintenance Environmental compliance Groundskeeping Environmental monitoring Facilities routine maintenance Full Job Description Position Summary The Wastewater Monitor / Plant Support Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the facility's wastewater treatment system to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards. This position also provides support to maintenance operations and assists with general plant support activities as needed to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor wastewater treatment equipment and processes to ensure proper operation. Collect wastewater samples and perform routine testing as required. Record, maintain, and report wastewater data, readings, and test results. Read and record wastewater system meters, gauges, and monitoring equipment. Identify and report abnormal conditions, equipment malfunctions, or permit compliance concerns to management. Assist with wastewater treatment system inspections and preventive maintenance activities. Maintain accurate wastewater records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Ensure wastewater operations comply with all environmental, safety, and regulatory standards. Other Duties and Responsibilities Assist maintenance personnel with preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as assigned. Replenish packaging supplies such as wrapping paper, plastic sheets, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, and labels. Label containers with required information, including lot numbers and grade names. Maintain accurate logs and report information to the Production Group Leader or supervisor. Load and unload trucks as needed. Read and record electrical meter readings daily. Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the Cub Building and surrounding work areas. Assist in keeping exterior plant grounds clean and organized. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the raw material storage room. Recycle materials and products in designated recycling areas. Assist production and operations personnel as needed to support plant activities.
Pay:
$10.00 - $15.00 per hour
