$15.00 Back Apply Now Job Skills / Requirements Duties and Responsibilities
Participates in field operations at Waste Water Treatment Facilities (WWTF) throughout Spartanburg County
Assists in collecting/analyzing process samples while recording results
Supports day to day administrative/organizational functions at the WWTF for all departments including
Operations, Industrial Pretreatment and Above Ground Maintenance
Performs comparative research on efficiency of current operational/scientific practices versus other potential practices
Accomplishes data entry and assists in presenting research through compilation of results into graphical analysis Requirements
Enrollment in an institution of higher learning or certification program with an emphasis in environmental studies or relatable subject
Basic computer skills
Experience with Excel
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work out-of-doors and also inside a laboratory with equal enthusiasm Benefits
Hourly rate $15.00
Work with experienced water professionals
Perform work/research to provide excellent service to the community while protecting water resources
Gain knowledge of the Spartanburg Water system This job reports to the Rick Jolley This is a Temporary / Seasonal position 1st Shift.
