Collect, transport, label, sample, and prepare waste for shipment and disposal. Load and unload containers, drums, and equipment using forklifts and other site equipment. Perform waste sampling, profiling, classification, and documentation activities. Complete manifests, shipping paperwork, labels, and waste tracking documentation. Respond to spills, environmental incidents, and emergency response situations. Deploy containment and control materials during spill response activities. Conduct waste inspections and maintain accurate inventory records. Perform waste consolidation, material stabilization, and container management activities. Support waste transportation and disposal projects. Operate forklifts, pumps, drum handling equipment, and other environmental service equipment. Assist with agency inspections, audits, and compliance activities. Participate in turnaround activities and special projects as needed. Communicate with site personnel and customers regarding waste management needs. Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and security requirements. Perform housekeeping and general site support duties. Perform other duties as assigned. What's required: Minimum 1 year of experience in an industrial facility, refinery, plant, environmental, or waste management environment preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and industrial environments. Ability to lift, move, and handle containers and materials safely. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators and protective clothing. Comfortable communicating via two-way radio. Experience operating forklifts and other industrial equipment preferred. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work flexible schedules, overtime, weekends, and turnaround events as needed. HAZWOPER, RCRA, DOT, First Aid/CPR, H2S, or similar industry training is a plus. Must be able to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces and elevated work areas when required. Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and strong work ethic.
