Medical Waste Technician

Our client is looking for Medical Waste Technicians in San Antonio, TX! This is a 3-month contract opportunity offering a starting pay rate of $18 an hour.

Locations/Schedule:

4502 Medical Dr, San Antonio, TX - 6:30am to 3pm Job Summary Support hospital waste operations, including collection, handling, packaging, and transport of medical waste, sharps, and pharmaceutical waste. Key Responsibilities Collect and manage medical and sharps waste throughout facility Ensure proper segregation, labeling, and regulatory compliance Maintain accurate logs and housekeeping standards Follow all safety procedures (EPA, OSHA, DOT) Wear required PPE Provide strong customer service Requirements Valid Texas driver's license (no state ID only) Reliable personal transportation (no rideshare/public transit) Comfortable walking 10-12 miles daily Comfortable working in a medical environment and receiving required vaccinations High School Diploma/GED (Associate's preferred) Experience with medical waste/sharps preferred 24-hour
