Offering $23-24/hr Mileage Pay + OT + Perks Clean Harbors in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Insite Chemist to join our safety conscious team. This person would be responsible for assisting in the collection, identification, and proper packaging and/or lab packing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste at our client site in Milwaukee, WI. This position is NOT a laboratory-based position Valid Driver's License required Monday through Friday schedule, start time 5:45 am to 1:45 pm Very physical, with walking the majority of the day, as well as lifting up to 50 lbs. Key Responsibilities:

Pickup at hospitals, health centers and clinics across the metro area. Prepare computer-generated packing lists, labels, manifests, and land disposal restrictions notifications. Identify unknown laboratory chemicals when they are encountered. Perform inspections of staging, accumulating and storage areas to ensure proper housekeeping procedures and compliance. Inspect storage area for leaks or spills. Inspect drums for compliance with labeling regulations. Collect, segregate, and properly package waste chemicals for disposal to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance. Prepare all necessary tracking paperwork. Utilize waste management software to efficiently and accurately manage waste program. Assign proper waste codes to all materials that are designated for disposal. Maintain and manage waste profile data. Evaluate specialty waste materials such as Pharmaceuticals, and batteries determining disposal options.
