Under the direction of Sanitation Leadership, assists with keeping working area and equipment in processing facility clean and sanitary for production by performing the following duties: Ensures proper use and complete compliance of Trident Seafoods lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program across all levels of sanitation crew. All Equipment is to be properly LOTO and de-energized prior to, "tear-down", cleaning, and reassembly. Sanitation Crew will not be permitted to clean, work under, or be in extreme proximity to moving equipment.Note:
Sanitation Key I residing in Trident housing will be subject to a co-pay of fifteen dollars per day for room and board, for each day that at least 8 hours of work is offered. Essential functions (responsibilities, tasks, supervisory needs) Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Cleans the floors of all debris and rinses thoroughly. Cleans air lines and hoses that feed the lines. Removes and replaces equipment as needed to accommodate production set-up requirements. Trained in proper chemical use, mixing, and handling. Sanitizes production equipment in preparation for maintenance and production set-up crews. Cleans and sanitize all pieces of equipment assigned by Sanitation lead. Cleans chemical room, process floor dry goods area, and other work areas. Cleans wash buckets, inside the proccing areas handrails, and other equipment assigned by lead or Foreperson until shift ends. Minimum Requirements Required Qualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs) Must be a current Trident Seafoods employee or have worked for Trident Seafoods before Minimum one (1) year experience. Preferred education and experience High School Diploma May require operator's license for lift truck and other equipment as needed. Additional eligibility requirements (language skills, training, certifications, DL, licensing): While performing duties of this job the employee will frequently engage in teamwork. The employee will occasionally be required to use interpersonal and customer service skills. The employee will occasionally need to speak and read English. Work environment (includes travel/on-call): While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Work authorizations:
