Job Description

Position Summary The Cleaning & Turnover Technician is responsible for ensuring rental properties are cleaned, sanitized, and guest-ready. This role plays a key part in creating a positive guest experience by maintaining high cleanliness standards and promptly preparing units between stays or tenants. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize all areas of the rental unit, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces. Change and launder linens, towels, and bedding. Dust and wipe all surfaces, furniture, appliances, and fixtures. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and deep-clean floors as needed. Restock essential items such as toiletries, paper goods, and cleaning supplies. Inspect units for damage, missing items, and needed repairs, reporting issues to management. Empty trash and ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling. Clean kitchen appliances (interior and exterior), counters, cabinets, and dishes if required. Perform deep-clean tasks on a schedule (e.g., oven cleaning, baseboards, windows, vents). Follow company cleaning checklists to ensure consistency and quality. Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure supplies are stocked. Adhere to safety, sanitation, and infection-control standards. Qualifications Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or hospitality required . Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions/checklists. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Reliable transportation to and from job sites. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical cleaning tasks. Strong communication skills and a professional attitude. Work Environment & Schedule Part-time, full-time, or contract roles available depending on property needs. Must be available for turnover cleanings, often between checkout and check-in times. Weekend or holiday availability may be required depending on rental volume. Compensation Hourly rate or per-property rate (varies by location and employer). Additional pay for deep cleans or urgent turnovers may be available.
Pay:
$27.50 - $32.50 per hour
