JOB SUMMARY

Mama Lola's is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Sanitation Technician to support sanitation operations across two food production facilities. This role is primarily weekend-based and is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and food-compliant production environment. Candidates should have experience in food manufacturing sanitation practices and an understanding of food safety requirements. Familiarity with SQF standards is a strong plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of food processing equipment, production areas, and facility surfaces. Follow Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) tasks and complete assigned weekend deep-clean projects. Properly disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment according to SOPs. Use sanitation chemicals safely and correctly, following all labeling and dilution requirements. Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards (FDA/USDA as applicable). Prevent cross-contamination by following allergen controls and proper sanitation zoning procedures. Document sanitation activities, chemical usage, and completed checklists. Identify and report facility issues such as leaks, mold risk, pest evidence, or equipment concerns. Support pre-op sanitation readiness and inspections when needed. Work efficiently across both facilities based on scheduling needs. Qualifications Prior sanitation experience in a food manufacturing, commercial kitchen, or food production environment required. Strong understanding of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices). Ability to follow detailed sanitation SOPs and instructions. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and pride in cleanliness. SQF familiarity is a major plus. Ability to travel between two facilities as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work around water, chemicals, and industrial equipment. Ability to bend, kneel, climb steps/ladders, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks. Schedule This requires that you work 10 Hours on Saturday and 10 hours on Sunday, 20 hours total. Day and Night Shifts.

Pay:
