We may have your dream job. Flowercraft Garden Center in San Francisco is looking for a Yard Operations Associate to help keep our legendary San Francisco garden center looking amazing, organized, and running smoothly. This is not a "stand around and stare at a cash register" kind of job.

Likes being active and outdoors Can lift a bag of soil without writing a dramatic farewell letter Thinks forklifts are cool Enjoys plants, people, and organized chaos Doesn't panic when 200 customers all suddenly decide they need pottery on the same Saturday If you enjoy variety, teamwork, fresh air, and helping create one of the Bay Area's most unique garden centers — keep reading. What You'll Actually Be Doing No two days are exactly the same, but here are some of the things you'll help with: Keep the Garden Center Looking Great Sweep and maintain outdoor retail areas Organize plant displays and staging areas Clean up debris, leaves, broken pots, and runaway shopping carts Make the yard look beautiful, safe, and welcoming Plant Care & Product Handling Water plants and help keep inventory healthy Re-stock trays, flats, soil, pottery, and garden materials Re-stake plants and straighten displays Rescue damaged soil bags before they become everyone's problem Help Customers & Support Operations Load plants, pottery, and soil into customer vehicles Assist with customer yard ticket write-ups. Assist with Vendor deliveries and unloading product Pack plants safely for transport Be a friendly, helpful part of the Flowercraft experience Equipment & Safety Operate forklifts and equipment safely (training available) Help maintain safe working conditions throughout the yard Support opening and closing procedures What We're Looking For You don't need to know every plant name in existence (yet), but you should: Enjoy working outdoors Be dependable and hardworking Be able to lift heavy products regularly Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic Be comfortable around customers and teammates Be organized and able to work independently

Bonus Points If You Have:

Pay:

$21.50 - $24.00 per hour
