Full Job Description About Us:

SafeStep is a turf cleaning & pet waste removal company based in San Marcos. We are a fast-growing, local business built on being reliable and doing a thorough job for our clients. We are hiring our first technician to take over routes and turf cleaning jobs as we expand.

The Opportunity:

This is an independent, outdoor job. You will be given your daily schedule and routes, and you'll handle the work on-site without anyone micromanaging you. Perfect for someone who likes working outside, running equipment, and staying active instead of sitting at a desk.

What You'll Do:

Turf Cleaning:

We offer multiple packages/services for turf cleaning. These include machine power brushing, turf specialized vacuuming, shop vacuuming edges, pressure washing, weed pulling, and replenishing infill.

Pet Waste Removal:

We offer routine pet waste removal services. Routes are scheduled, organized, and efficient. You will drive between client's houses, enter their yards, and scoop the dog poop throughout their yards. You will be around dogs often. We also offer disinfectant and deodorizing treatments as well, so you will spray that on select clients yards. You will also snap pictures of client's gates showing that you secured the yard before leaving, so they have peace of mind that their dogs won't get out. The work is simple and our average visit is only about 10 minutes.

You must have a valid CA driver's license and a completely clean driving record.
