Candidates must be open to working overtime and weekends as needed. 3:30pm start time Monday -
Friday Responsibilities:
Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble complex food processing equipment and machinery. Safely handle, mix, and apply food-grade chemicals, ensuring proper concentrations. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Sanitization Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Maintain accurate, detailed records of completed sanitation tasks, often in electronic logs. Perform self-inspections of cleaned equipment to ensure it is ready for production.
Requirements:
Working in wet, humid, noisy, and cold (refrigerated) environment. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, stand for long periods, crouch, and work at heights. Wearing required personal protective equipment, including rubber boots, aprons, gloves, and eye protection. Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment in a similar role.
