Onsite What You Will Do:
Maintain fluid levels in machinery, document usage, and monitor fluid inventory. Change filters on machinery as needed. Operate forklifts and aerial lifts as required, including pre-operational inspection and log. Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all areas in the facility. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work area. Maintain proper soap to water ratios in washers by using titration kits. Maintain non-hazardous waste collection and storage areas to include barrels, tote, solid waste hoppers. Prepare waste material containers for shipment per EHS guideline, including proper labeling and documentation. Operate and maintain fluids filtration equipment. Perform scheduled / unscheduled cleaning of cutting fluid tanks. Clean and wipe down machinery. Remove the buildup of process swarf, grit, and fragments in machines and tanks. Empty and clean oil skimmers. Clean and service parts washers and remove and replace Deionized Water bottles. Use of barrel vacuum system to recover fluids. Reporting defects, damages, and malfunctions of any kind to the supervisor. Complying with all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration rules (OSHA) while working. Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as scheduled. Perform and document basic electrical and mechanical diagnostics and repairs on production equipment. Adhere to all EH&S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment. May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one's skills. Use basic hand tools and equipment. Work from heights, including ladders and aerial lifts. Be on your feet for long periods of time. Work in awkward positions for extended periods. Good manual dexterity. Remain focused and alert during tasks.
Qualifications You Must Have:
HS Diploma/GED and minimum of 2 years relevant experience. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. General mechanical and/or electrical aptitude. Position requires basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or fluid power systems. Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, and Power Point) required. Strong written & verbal communication skills.
