Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cleaning Technician and play a vital role in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments across various commercial buildings. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for executing a wide range of cleaning tasks with precision and enthusiasm, ensuring that every space meets high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Position is year round, part time and flexible to work around another job - requires a dependable person that cares about doing a great job! Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and using a floor machine to maintain a pristine appearance. Operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuums and a cleaning machine. Follow established protocols for waste disposal, recycling procedures, and environmentally friendly cleaning practices. Ensure all assigned areas are inspected regularly for cleanliness and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly. Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment. Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience in commercial setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with the use of various cleaning equipment and chemicals is a plus. Ability to follow detailed instructions carefully while maintaining high standards of quality. Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating machinery. Lots of walking between properties.
