Full Job Description Sanitation Technician:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Sanitation Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment. This role is essential in ensuring the facility meets cleanliness standards for food handling and storage. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding sanitation and safety procedures throughout the facility.

MAIN JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean and sanitize floors, equipment, restrooms, breakrooms, and work areas Sweep, mop, dust, and remove trash from designated areas on a regular schedule Clean spills and ensure proper disposal of waste materials Maintain cleanliness of docks, storage areas, offices, and other high-traffic areas Refill supplies such as soap, sanitizer, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed Follow proper safety protocols when handling cleaning or organizing tasks as needed Support team with additional cleaning or organizing tasks as needed Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition As part of your role, you may be required to perform additional duties or tasks as assigned by your manager or the company. Flexibility and a willingness to take on varied responsibilities are essential expectations for all positions

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous janitorial, sanitation, or warehouse experience preferred Ability to work independently and follow a cleaning schedule Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physical environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear required
