This position is a strong fit for candidates with hands-on experience operating zero-turn mowers, tractor mowers, riding mowers, commercial lawn equipment, weed eaters, blowers, and other grounds maintenance tools . Candidates must be reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working outdoors for extended periods. Responsibilities Operate zero-turn mowers, tractor mowers, riding mowers, and other grounds maintenance equipment. Perform mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, weed eating, trash pickup, and general outdoor cleanup. Assist with roadside, commercial, large-property, or route-based grounds maintenance. Follow instructions from the site supervisor, crew lead, or client representative. Inspect equipment before use and report any equipment issues or safety concerns. Maintain safe work practices around vehicles, equipment, crew members, and public areas. Work outdoors in heat, humidity, and changing weather conditions. Support the crew with additional labor tasks as needed. Requirements Previous experience operating zero-turn mowers, tractor mowers, riding mowers, or commercial lawn equipment preferred. Landscaping, lawn care, groundskeeping, outdoor labor, highway maintenance, or roadside cleanup experience preferred. Ability to work outside for long periods. Ability to lift, bend, walk, stand, and perform physical labor throughout the shift. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions. Must have reliable transportation. Valid driver's license preferred, especially if the role requires driving company vehicles or transporting equipment. Must be able to work safely and professionally as part of a crew. Preferred Experience Zero-turn mower operation Tractor mower operation Commercial landscaping Roadside mowing Grounds maintenance Weed eating and trimming Outdoor labor Equipment safety Crew-based field work Schedule Day shift availability preferred. Schedule may vary depending on assignment, weather, and client needs. Some early mornings, weekends, or extended outdoor shifts may be required. Work Environment This is an outdoor labor position. Candidates should expect to work in heat, sun, humidity, light rain, and active outdoor job-site conditions. Safety, awareness, and reliability are important.
