Job Description

Description:
Salary range starts at $14.00/hour and can be negotiated based on experience. Our organization is seeking to fulfill the role of Night Shift Sanitation Technician to efficiently and accurately perform tasks related to the sanitation and up-keep of equipment and the facility. This role reports directly to the Sanitation Supervisor as responsibilities fall under the scope of the QAFS management systems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Detailed sanitation and up-keep of the facility, ensuring that all processing equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized to established standards Maintain facility and surrounding area in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and recognized Food Safety Standards Removal of all trash and product/soil from plant; cleaning of floors, walls, ceilings Follow all Sanitation Equipment tool and equipment guidelines Adhere to established Good Manufacturing Practices and Chemical Safety guidelines Maintain a clean and safe work area. Document cleaning and sanitation activities on Sanitation Forms ensuring that they are complete, accurate, and true. Assist performing ATP swabbing to verify sanitation effectiveness. Assist performing chemical titrations and chemical strength testing to verify proper chemical concentrations are used. Assist is maintaining chemical inventory. Maintain sanitation equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner Understand and comply with all food safety and food manufacturing policies/procedures Perform other duties as assigned Wear required company issued protective gear.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Preferred knowledge of Food Safety Systems, CFR, FSMA, GFSI, HACCP, GMPs, etc. Preferred experience with food manufacturing products, preferably peanut processing
