Sanitation Technician

Your Role in Synergy's Success Plant and janitorial sanitation. How You Will Contribute This position is responsible for performing sanitation duties required to keep the plant and offices in compliance with BRC standards. The primary focus of this role is to complete janitorial tasks, maintain clean and orderly office spaces, complete all necessary documentation, and assist with plant sanitation duties as needed. Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the building including Office, Labs and Plant Service, clean, and supply restrooms, locker rooms, kitchens and Fitness Room Check electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created Notify supervisor concerning the need for major repairs to building operating systems Remove snow from sidewalks using snow shovels, and spread snow melting chemicals as needed, around regularly scheduled cleanup. Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, etc. to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings Will participate in the recycling program by breaking down corrugated packaging and storing for disposal Will accurately complete daily checklists and documentation for assigned work area All other responsibilities as required Skills and Requirements High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Preferred Trained in GMP's - able to be trained Must be able to follow directions and perform work duties with limited supervision Attention to detail a must Must wear steel-toed shoes, safety goggles and a mask as necessary Be constantly aware of chemicals and appropriate safety requirements and follow through with safety steps Able to be trained to drive a forklift

Starting Salary :
