Job Description

About the role: The Sanitation Technician is responsible for all cleaning activities necessary for the cleanliness throughout the manufacturing facility and office areas. The Sanitation Technician is responsible for helping to ensure all products produced at this site meet all local and federal regulations and are safe and wholesome. In addition, meets all requirements mandated by
FSSC 22000.
Key responsibilities include: Responsible for cleaning the factory, including exterior, washroom, restrooms, and/or office. Responsible for structure cleaning. Complete all SAP/ISO paperwork and Safety Training to comply with existing and new requirements. Responsible for the cleanliness of all areas in the department as well as following all GMP's and Food Safety Regulations. Responsible for participation in Bloodborne Pathogens and glass cleanup programs. Follow all Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.
About you:
High school diploma or equivalency. A minimum of one year of experience in the manufacturing environment, preferably in food manufacturing. Teamwork and Cooperation - genuine intention to work cooperatively with others. Flexibility/Initiative - ability to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations, individuals, and groups, as well as a preference for taking action before being requested. Exposure to excessive noise, heat, cold, and dust. Must be able to move freely throughout the manufacturing facility. Some mild chemical exposure. Must be able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds without assistance. What you can expect from
