Temp/Seasonal - HHW

SATURDAY WORKER DATE

April28, 2026. Posting will remain open untilposition is filled.

HOURS:

Part-Time, Saturdays 8am-12noon

PAY:

Starting pay $17/hr Paidbi-weekly

DESCRIPTION

This position works in the Household HazardousWaste Program. Interacts with and assists the public in removing items broughtto the facility. Must handle, sort, andprepare the items for shipment (skidding, boxing). Materials collected include various householdchemicals/cleaners, oil, anti-freeze, paints/stains, fluorescent bulbs, and allelectronic devices, including TV's, computers, etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Interaction with the public and vendors Recognize and appropriately sort varioushousehold chemicals Operate equipment, including basic tools,operate a skid loader (training provided) Lift televisions (with assistance) from avariety of vehicles and onto skids

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED Must be 21 years of age Must possess a valid driver's license Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to interact with and speak effectivelywith the public and a variety of vendors.
