Industrial Utility Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Industrial Utility Technician to join our Industrial facility team. The Industrial Utility Technician supports daily operations by maintaining equipment, surface preparation, paint booth upkeep, assisting with production processes and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote a safe and efficient environment both inside and outside.

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE Burn & Blast on Load side and Packing side of Overhead Line Replace Flatline Trays on Conveyor Organize Hooks and Plugs around the Plant Prepare turntable for Flat line Painters Forklift Operation Rotate load bars on Flat Line and Overhead Line including angle iron bars and large hooks Special Projects given by the Chemical Process and Waste Operator to help in Phosphate, Chromate, Pretreatment, and Water Treatment Departments including but not limited to Paint Mix Rooms. Empty Powder Waste Dispenser and Repaper Paint Booths Production Floor Cleaning Assisting with production needs when authorized Outdoor activities such as mowing, trimming, etc.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or facility maintenance Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, standing, and working in various conditions and willingness to perform a variety of tasks. Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and shop tools Forklift Experience Ability to meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and organization skills Communication Skills; Written & Verbal Knowledge of Cleaning Tools and Chemicals Knowledge of Sterilization methods Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable with a strong work ethic and attendance record

Pay:

From $17.50 per hour
