  • Full-time We're seeking a Kennel Assistant to join a team of dedicated people responsible for caring for our dogs in their day-to-day life.
We are looking for someone that loves dogs and puppies! You would be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting the kennels each morning. You would be around the dogs and have to move them in order to clean properly. Part of your job would also be taking care of medication, socialization of puppies, and feeding/exercising dogs & puppies! Your afternoon would consist of office assistant, which would include updating vaccine records and posting ads. Seeing as we work with living beings this job is very important. No experience is needed, as we will gladly train you on how things need to be done! After 90 days of work with no tardies or absences, you would be eligible for a raise. If you have any questions please ask! Please note we will need someone with availability on the weekends, some Saturday's and Sunday's required. Qualifications Veterinary experience or strong animal care background Animal handling and grooming abilities; comfortable with pet care routines Familiarity with veterinary terminology and basic medical administration Kennel or shelter environment experience preferred; cleaning and sanitation duties Ability to supervise playtime, feed, and monitor welfare Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of following care protocols and safety procedures
