SANITATION TECH

We are looking for a reliable Sanitation Tech to support vehicle cleaning and servicing operations at a large, secure UPS World Port facility. Responsibilities include cleaning and washing vehicles using manual methods, pressure washers, and large cleaning equipment, working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Required:

• Must be 18 years of age or older Must have a valid driver's license
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Preferred:

• Prior Cleaning / Janitorial Experience
• 1 year of similar work experience
• Perform all task assigned based on ABM Sanitation Program.
• Disassemble, clean/sanitize, and reassemble equipment.
• Accurately and safely cleans equipment area or periodic work.
• Follows and maintains the sanitation program utilizing a Master Cleaning Schedule and ensures implementation of accurate procedures in all tasks completed.
• Reports all equipment problems to the leadership or supervisor immediately.
• Communicates all matters relating to safety and health and positively promote safety in our operations.

Understands and follows all general and specific safe job procedures that apply to your job. Plans and carry out job assignments without crafting hazards to yourself and other employees. Carry out essential vehicle washing functions involving repetitive physical motions, including standing for extended periods, reaching above shoulder level, bending, and squatting, in an outdoor environment during scheduled work hours, except for designated breaks Work in confined spaces while following confined space protocols where applicable. Work in all conditions including wet, humid, hot, and cold. Flexible work schedule. Working schedule could change periodically throughout the week. Come to work on time, ready to work, and work entire scheduled hours each day.
