The ideal candidate will be responsible for Street Sweeper operations and to a dedicated location. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent street sweeper driving skills, and the ability to navigate routes while adhering to a predetermined schedule. As a Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining customer satisfaction. Duties Operate a mechanical street sweeper (Elgin). Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Plan effectively to meet delivery schedules while considering traffic patterns and road conditions. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents during scheduled work hours. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered during scheduled work hours. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Experience with an Elgin Street Sweeper truck is a plus. Familiarity with route driving and delivery driver responsibilities. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving.
