Roustabout

Ecoserv is seeking a motivated Roustabout / Lab Technician to support daily operations at our Port Fourchon facility. This hands-on position is responsible for inspecting and sampling incoming waste shipments, performing laboratory monitoring activities, operating forklifts and other equipment, assisting with loading and unloading trucks and offshore supply vessels, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, follows safety procedures, works well in a team environment, and is willing to perform a variety of operational and environmental duties in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Schedule:

14 days on / 7 days off rotation 12-hour shifts First 7 days: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Second 7 days: 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Seven consecutive days off between rotations

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, sample, and document incoming waste shipments Perform laboratory testing and maintain monitoring equipment Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other equipment Assist with vessel and truck loading/unloading operations Monitor truck traffic and maintain safe yard operations Keep work areas clean and organized Collaborate with coworkers and contract personnel to complete daily tasks This safety-sensitive position offers the opportunity to work in the offshore and environmental services industry while gaining valuable experience in both field operations and laboratory functions.
