Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
Complexity & Problem Solving:
Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
Collaboration & Interaction:
Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments. Experienced Specialist (Hourly)
Requirements:
Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Good verbal and written communication, and basic math skills. Strong problem-solving and workload prioritization. Valid state driver's license and certification on all assigned industrial lifts. Proficient in the use of all hand tools, including normal carpentry and mechanical tools. Working knowledge of basic electricity, plumbing, and welding. Good close vision and depth perception skills. Ability to contribute successfully as part of a team. Positive can-do attitude. Physical Requirements Ability to work in high noise areas and wear appropriate hearing protection devices. Ability to mount/dismount forklift utilizing three points of contact (two hands and one foot). Ability to operate a motor vehicle while maintaining focus on safe driving and avoiding all distractions when behind the wheel, especially cell phones. Manual material handling involving the need to grip, squeeze, and pinch. Ability to work in an elevated ambient temperature environment. Ability to utilize stepladders, extension, and fixed ladders. Ability to work at elevated work heights, mezzanines, roofs, decks, and/or mobile working platforms. The position requires the ability to regularly stand for long periods of time. Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to complete all essential job functions listed in the position responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
