Cleaning Professional

JOB SUMMARY

York Services is looking for a dependable, detail‑oriented Cleaning Professional to help keep our car wash, gas station, and general facilities clean and welcoming for customers. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in, high‑traffic environments. This role is full-time, in-person, requiring 6 working days a week.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

• Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or car wash environments is helpful but not required

RESPONSIBLITIES

• Sanitize car wash tunnels and bays
• Maintaining vacuum stations, and surrounding outdoor areas
• Cutting and maintaining grass areas around the facilities
• Clean and restock restrooms, customer waiting areas
• Empty trash cans and manage waste disposal across the property
• Wipe down equipment, vending machines, fuel pumps area, canopies, and high‑touch surfaces
• Perform routine checks to ensure supplies (paper products, soap, towels) are stocked
• Identify and report maintenance issues such as leaks, broken equipment, or safety hazards
• Follow all safety procedures, especially around chemicals, wet floors, and active vehicle areas
• Assist with seasonal tasks (e.

g., clearing debris, light snow removal around entrances)

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety practices
• Reliable, punctual, and professional

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift over 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Pay:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
